Roadrunner Fitness offers services unlike any in the community. Our group fitness classes blend strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, and mobility training, and are each unique and designed by a fitness professional. Personal training is individualized to your specific needs, at low rates. The services are versatile, offered both in a quality gym and in parks. The environment is one that promotes fun, fellowship, and fitness; the groups and trainer are friendly, outgoing, and accepting. All fitness levels are welcome, and you will be met by encouragement and motivation.
Roadrunner Fitness was started in April 2016 by Barry Ore, ACE-Certified Personal Trainer/ACE-Certified Group Fitness Instructor. Barry is passionate about fitness and wellness, and has made it his mission to motivate and help others. Barry is glad for the opportunity to work as a fitness professional, as it helps him be the best he can be while helping others reach their goals. Making it his business is just a bonus.
Barry also coaches the Duke City 90 Day Challenge. He enjoys the energy of the large groups, the community, and the success stories that come from this fitness challenge.
Barry was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM and graduated from Menaul High School in 2006, where he was on the football, basketball, and track teams. He values fitness, service, education, and family.
Aside from working in the fitness industry, Barry studies Psychology at the University of New Mexico with aspirations to become a Social Worker or Counselor. He also serves his community through service commitments and work in human services. This includes contract work at UNM Health Sciences Center's Project ECHO, Best Chance, and serving on Bernalillo County’s Behavioral Health Initiative’s Prevention Sub-Committee as Chair.
